Peaceful Skies Today
The storms have passed for now and the forecast for the rest of today is cool and sunny, perfect weather for being outside. So head to a peace vigil and show that opposing war isn't unpatriotic — it's choosing a better alternative to invasions and killing.
The Intercommunity Justice and Peace Center (www.ijpc-cincinnati.org) is leading our local participation in a national effort to make visible the growing opposition to the Iraq war and the desire for peace in all corners and all neighborhoods across the U.S. Their Iraq Moratorium demonstrations rev up today at 5:30 p.m. all over the area and continue the third Friday of each month (June 20, July 18).
