Major Changes Coming to LOL Blog

Cat_photo

In an effort to become more mainstream and win "Best Of" awards and to increase our stats, starting Monday, this blog will be all positive.

There will be no more Larry Gross rants like the one from yesterday. In fact, starting Monday, the LOL Blog will consist of only cute cat pictures like the one to the left.

If you think the one to the left is too over the top, let us know and we’ll tame it down for our big “cat” debut on Monday.

Reporting from down on the farm, this is. . .

(We don’t know where we got the photo, but isn’t it cute?)

i hope this is a joke.

I think maybe this post is all about the abuse you're getting at the Cincinnati Blog. I'm guessing the comments there go unedited or unchecked. I'm surprised they haven't been sued by now.

But I have no problem at all with the Cincinnati Blog or this one. They both serve a purpose. Griff's blog is usually positive, this blog - when it comes to the city - is usually negative and more often than not, good points are made here.

I just want to say I'm grateful for both blogs and hearing both sides.

Just a curious question: Are you and Griff friends? You have more in common than you think.

isn't that farmer squeezing a tit? we simply can't have that in this town. out!

It's abuse to critique a posting? And you're surprised that commentors there haven't been sued? For what? I for one have never seen anything tortious going on over there.

Its fine to make negative points about the city, but its also fine to critque those points and say why the perception of the city expressed seems so off base to many.

This is all editorial here, so where's the beef?

Larry, did you notice that most of the happy blogs haven't written a word about Xavier's success?

What's with that? Thought they wanted nothing but happy, upbeat news?

Rick

Rick,

Maybe the lack of Xavier's success is another example of how Cincinnati is no longer a sports town -- but you didn't hear that from my old negative self!
