No Farting

Farting_2

I think it's over with this guy I've been seeing lately. He thinks farting is funny.

We went to a Mexican restaurant downtown last night and he had some kind of bean dish – a variety of beans, not sure what it was, not really paying a lot of attention.

Walking back to the car afterwards, he started laughing.

“Sorry, but I just have too,” he said – after which he farted right there on the sidewalk.

Did I mention there were other people on the sidewalk?

As if one wasn’t bad enough, he cut another one and then another one, laughing after each one.

I didn’t go back to his place, told him I had a headache. I may feel different later, but I doubt if I ever see this guy again.

I have no idea why guys think passing gas is funny in public, but I sure don’t. There should be a law: No farting in public.

I think some men just never grow up. If my husband did this kind of thing in public, I think I would hit him.

anyone who doesn't think farting is funny is lying to you.

hmmmmmm......can't ever remember walking down the sidewalk and cutting one. let me get out there and see what it feels like.

Wow. A post about farting. What a shock that this blog would write something like that. No -- not a shock at all.

Does this post fall in the modern irony department? I mean its kind of an example of a weird modern juxtapostion: claiming you have a headache in order to spare someone's feelings and then posting a blog article for the whole world to read about why the guy whose feelings you tried to spare is disgusting.

I need to need farting rules. Alone in your apartment? Yes. In the bathroom? Of course.
In a public place? Of course not.

Your boyfriend sounds gross.

Fart jokes and farting can be funny but some guys do have some class about it. Farting while walking down a sidewalk, especially with a date, is tasteless and unfunny.
