Worst Director on Planet Earth?

There's no denying that Uwe Boll is a hack of epic proportions. But is he the worst movie director on planet Earth?

The Web site StopUweBoll.org thinks so, writing an open letter to the director asking him to stop making movies so dumb they make Larry the Cable Guy flicks look smart.

Uwe

(I'm No. 1: Uwe Boll addresses his many critics)

The German has had three films released in U.S. theaters — House of the Dead (2003), Alone in the Dark (2005) and Bloodrayne (2005) — all of which were based on video games (about which the gaming community is none too happy), all of which were so lame they caused me to throw up in my mouth a little amid their vacuous hackery.

Boll has responded to his critics by saying that he will stop making video-game-based movies if 1 million people sign the petition on StopUweBoll.org. C’mon, people, let’s make it happen!

Now if we can just get him to quit the profession entirely.
